A collective vision to fund care, not killing.

Invest in:

    1. End homelessness by providing housing for all, regardless of location, income, and ability to work.

    2. Invest in green social housing for affordable homes built on environmental sustainability.

    3. Provide quality housing for new immigrants and refugees arriving in the U.S. through federal downpayment assistance and expansion of housing vouchers.

    4. Provide grants for home rehab and maintenance for low-income homeowners to ensure healthy, safe, and environmentally friendly homes.

    5. Fund federal downpayment assistance programs for first generation homebuyers to close the racial wealth gap.

    6. Enforce and expand legal protections for renters and single-family home owners against the threat of exploitative landlords, displacement and gentrification by corporate developers and speculators, and real estate market takeovers by Wall Street.

    7. Provide reparations to individuals and families historically denied housing opportunities in the U.S.

    1. Provide universal, free healthcare for all, including reproductive healthcare, mental healthcare, and culturally competent services.

    2. Invest in public health through expansions in Harm Reduction, housing, Medicaid and Medicare, and sustained supports to protect against COVID and Long COVID.

    3. Invest in health and mental health services for queer, trans, and gender-nonconforming people, including education for medical professionals.

    4. Immediately restore funding to UNRWA, the humanitarian aid agency for Palestinian refugees.

    1. Provide high-quality, inclusive, anti-bias, culturally and linguistically sustaining public education for all children. Fund public schools equitably instead of on the basis of property taxes.

    2. Provide free comprehensive, quality childcare for all and paid parental leave. Ensure that all early childhood educators earn a dignified wage and invest in the early education workforce.

    3. Protect queer and trans kids by investing in protections for students and supporting trans, queer, and/or BIPOC teachers.

    4. Protect and invest in school curricula that incorporate Black history and ethnic studies, affirm academic freedom, and provide accurate and comprehensive education. Provide free comprehensive sex education (PreK-12) including information on reproductive coercion, consent, physical and online sexual harassment and assault, and gender-based violence from an anti-carceral harm prevention and transformative justice lens.

    5. Provide free, healthy, and culturally sustaining meals for all children in schools.

    6. Invest in school counselors, after-school programs, arts education, and restorative justice

    7. Cancel student debt and provide free college.

    1. Establish free prior and informed consent for Indigenous and tribal communities regarding any action affecting their land and rights, while respecting their sovereignty and right to self determination.

    2. Invest in a just transition away from fossil fuels. Support workers currently trapped in the war and fossil fuel economy with training opportunities to enter a green economy.

    3. Detail a specific rebuilding and repair plan for infrastructure across the country based on a commitment to a green economy and deep understanding of the threat of climate change.

    4. Fund infrastructure for climate resilience and just recovery from disasters. Invest in workforce development, resilience hubs, and energy transition, with community governance and oversight of programs, and protection of fundamental rights including universal access to programs.

    5. Invest in economic justice, solidarity economies, and reparations for survivors of state violence.

DIVEST FROM:

    1. Cut the U.S. military budget by 50%, in order to close over 800 U.S. military bases around the world and eliminate weaponry sales to violators of human rights. It would also reduce the use and stockpiling of nuclear weapons, and return all troops back from the current theaters of war.

    2. Divest from the $8+ trillion dollars that have been poured into the Global War on Terror, and from war economies that rely on the destruction and extraction of resources, land, and labor.

    3. Completely withdraw U.S. forces from Africa and close AFRICOM, the United States Africa Command for military operations.

    4. End the annual $3.8 billion in military funding to the Israeli government, halt all sales and transfers of U.S. weapons to Israel, and divest from other state investments—such as Israel bonds—in the Israeli government. End all political and diplomatic complicity in Israel’s ongoing systematic violence against the Palestinian people.

    1. Defund the police by divesting from massive police department budgets and state surveillance.

    2. Divest from the school to prison pipeline that disproportionately punishes Black, brown, and Indigenous students, especially LGBTQIA+ youth, Black girls, and disabled students. End zero-tolerance policies in schools, remove cops from schools, and end suspensions and expulsions in early childhood settings.

    3. End the prison industrial complex and carceral state expansion, in order to build stronger communities rooted in community safety. Prison costs taxpayers $80 billion a year.

    4. Root out ableist carceral systems including abolishing psychiatric incarceration and the deadly policing of neurodivergence and disability by law enforcement, social services, and mental healthcare.

    1. Divest from punitive immigration systems like ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and CBP (Customs and Border Protection), including ICE's immigration detention system and surveillance. Reduce the majority of the budgets of ICE and CBP.

    2. Stop funding dangerous, deadly border militarization. End weapons and security technology deployment in border security, and divest from physical or virtual border barriers.

    3. Stop anti-asylum policies that prevent refugees from accessing safety, and stop funding the wars that displace them in the first place.

    1. Divest from the fossil fuel economy, including oil and gas drilling in the outer continental shelf and fossil-fueled weapons of war.

    2. End tax cuts and government handouts for corporations and the ultrarich, including corporate landlords and Wall Street developers.

    3. Expand worker rights and hold corporations accountable for union busting, labor violations, and poverty wages.
